*Adrienne Senior Portraits*

This shoot was exceptionally fun. There were places all around Vancouver, WA I had been dying to take pictures at and was just waiting for the opportunity. Well, the opportunity turned out the be the beautiful Adrienne for her senior photos. Adrienne is such a fun person to be around! She is an awesome soccer player, smart, and wants to go to college to be an architect. She is looking into going to Colorado University, which is the arch enemy of my alma-mater but I wont hold that against her :) (GO RAMS!)
Anyway, as I look through the photos all I have to say is "one at a time boys, one at a time" What a beauty!

Found this wall in a parking lot perfectly numbered for her graduation year..

The one on the right is not posed... that just Adrienne in her natural, lovely state.

Love the lighting in this one..

We both sacrificed out bodies to mosquitoes for this shot but definitely worth it!

Love the sweetness in these pictures and of course the lighting..

Stunning!!!

Adrienne, I wish you the best of luck! You have a bright future ahead of you and I know you'll succeed at everything you do! ....even if you go to CU :)

Ryan Greenen Graduation

What some of you don't know about me is that I not only am a photographer but I am also a personal trainer. I love both jobs and this post is a kind of a merge of both.
Ryan is my favorite client by far. He is a determined, funny, accomplishing 18 yr old that inspires me and so many around him. Ryan grew up as a semi normal kid (I say semi because he a very successful in academics, having track records, and other sports). About 3 1/2 years ago Ryan was sledding with his friends and was traumatically run over by a mini van. Ryan knocked on deaths door many times in the first few months. He suffered severe brain damage that affected his motor skills. Ryan came to me in October just learning to walk with a walker. His goal was to walk across his high school graduation stage. After a many days in the gym working with me and another trainer, multiple days a week with physical therapist, and message therapist,  Ryan was able to walk on his own. However, walking in the gym with us is very different from walking across a stage with thousands of eyes on you. With Ryan's determination he was able to do it.. while everyone else wiped their eyes and gave him a huge standing ovation.
Ryan definitely has a special place in my heart and I can't wait to see him walk, run, and jump on his own one day. Here are some photos from his graduation. I hope that as you look at them that you can be as inspired by Ryan as much as everyone else who knows him is.

*Brenton and Jade Wedding*

Another wedding post where I had to restrain myself from posting almost all the photos! It was a beautiful wedding with 2 AMAZING families with two incredible people joining lives.
Brenton and Jade were so fun to work with and sooo photogenic! Jade is absolutely stunning as you will see. These two had such a sweet, genuine love for one another that just radiated throughout there day.
Another fun part of the day was an amazing team of videographers (check them out!). I need to credit most of my pictures to them because of the incredible lighting they set up in the venue!
Here are some of my favorites from the day...

Jade's dress was awesome and probably weighed 20 lbs! But I'm sure she would say it was worth it because she looked angelic in it!

Like I said... Stunning.

The shot on the right was one of those that just happened. Jade was standing at the top of the staircase and I couldn't resist snapping a few of that beautiful lighting!

Brenton looked pretty dapper himself!

Here comes the first look.....
BAM! There it is... love the first look shots!
So sweet..
I loved this bush!! Huge and B-E-A-UTIFUL!
Couldn't have asked for better lighting...

Some of my favorites..

Their love story...

Like I said... the lighting... INCREDIBLE!
The photo of Brenton on the right is my favorite Ceremony picture to date!
So many fun reception pictures... Here are just a few of them.
Mr. and Mrs. Moore!!!

Brenton, Jade, and families,
Thank you so much for the honor of photographing your BEAUTIFUL wedding. All of you are amazing people and so loving

*Cody and Kelsey Engagements*

Let me just start off by saying Cody and Kelsey are awesome! Cody is a hilarious Texas gentleman and Kelsey is a cute, sweet Colorado girl. This shoot was a privilege for me because they both were good friends of mine in college. Cody was a great sport for the shoot! This was not his most favorite thing to do but he did awesome (as the pictures will tell). I am so excited for the wedding, but not as much as I am to see these two join there lives and grow into a family. It is truly a blessing to know them and be a part of the beginning of their journey.

This first picture needs a little explaining... Kelsey and Cody LOVE Sugarland. They were going to their concert the same day we did the photo shoot. As we were pulling onto the highway Cody spotted the Sugarland tour bus and immediately started hooting and hollering as a southern boy would while honking the horn with excitement. Well then we kept driving and saw the tour bus with the Sugarland band members on it. This lead to us following the bus while Cody hung out the window and waved with more hooting and hollering. So these pictures are for him and a memory of how close he got to the band!

Love these two..

Few of my favorites from the day

These shots are some of my favorite...

Kelsey and Cody, Thank you again for allowing me to be your photographer. Such an honor. Can't wait for the wedding day!

Portland Rescue Mission

Every first Friday of the month Mosaic Church of Portland has a team of volunteers help out at the Portland Rescue Mission to feed the homeless. Kevin and I have had the privilege to serve with this team since December. This past first Friday I took some pictures. I only took a few out of respect for the people who attend there. These pictures are not to exploit them or put a halo around those who serve, it is purely to show Jesus' love in action. I hope you feel and see the love of God through the volunteers and through the people who attend the PRM. At the mission there is a chapel before they eat and worship after. Enjoy!
