*Tyler and Emily Wedding*

Oh Goodness, where to begin. This wedding was AMAZING for soo many reasons. First being the bride. I cannot say enough good things about Emily to do her justice, but here are a few: sweetest, most loving, happy, beautiful, godly lady. And boy did she find her match, which is the second reason the wedding was so amazing of course. The third reason was that there were so many friends that got to contribute into making this special day! There was a friend who did emily's hair, a friend who helped coordinate all the cute details (and made most of them too!), a friend who did an INCREDIBLE job on the catering, a friend that worked at the reception venue, a friend that did a knock out job on the flowers (it was her first wedding to do too!), and me who got to photograph. I love getting to photograph friends weddings. It has been such a blessing to get to walk along side so many friends for every minute of their special days. This one was just icing on the cake, getting to see more friends contribute into making one beautiful wedding for Emily and Tyler. The fourth reason this was an AMAZING wedding, was because it was in Ft Collins, Colorado on a BEAUTIFUL fall day! As you will see below, it was breathtaking...

Emily glowed as she finally put on THE dress!! So cute.

Oh first look shots, how I love you... so much unfiltered emotion pours out of this shot. LOVE IT!

While I was taking pictures of Emily, I turned around to see Tyler taking shots of her too! I thought it was so cute and needed to get a few shots of that of course :)

This tree BLEW MY MIND!!! Gorgeous Colorado helping make gorgeous pictures.

So in love :)

I have no words, just an admirable sigh.

Incredible flowers!

More sigh worthy pictures of the stunning Emily.

Love the groomsman with his hand over his eyes in the background of the picture on the right.

The colors!!

So many cute, Pinterest worthy details.

Congratulations Tyler and Emily and thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me as the photographer of your big day. It was a pure joy to be a part of it.

*Welcome Home Box Family*

What a wonderful day today was. I was asked to photograph a "welcome home" from Uganda, Africa for a family with their new adopted boy, Enock. What a special thing to photograph and so close to my heart after spending a summer in Uganda. The Box family have a ton of loving friends and family that were so excited for their return home and to meet the new family member. They filled the baggage claim of the Austin airport with signs and balloons to welcome their arrival.  I truly have few words that can describe how special it was to share this with these people. I feel so privileged to photograph such an exciting event. It was hard for me to hold back the tears as I thought about the hundreds of orphans I met in Uganda and to see one finally have a home. There is so much need in that country and few people with hearts like the Box's. They have done such a special thing for that little boy and I know that God was smiling down on this whole event. I hope that you can feel the love and excitement poor out of these images...

Waiting patiently for the arrival...

They are here!!

Camp was very excited to be home with his new brother!
One happy family! Welcome home Enock!!!

*Krause Wedding*

I had a hard time getting this blog together because there were just too many pictures I wanted to share with you. I LOVED this wedding. Loved the people. Loved the details. Loved the dress. Loved the love! Billy and Terra's day was filled with joy. I think I was smiling the entire time behind the camera because the happiness at this wedding was contagious. The creativity and uniqueness was so inspiring too! I hope you get to enjoy Billy and Terra's day through these pictures as I did in real life!
LOVE her face on the right... So happy she is finally in THE dress!!

All the bridesmaids picked different dresses but within the same color pallet. So cute!

These shots below are from Billy and Terra's "first look".. some of my favorites.

Amazing wedding venue. The vintage YWCA in Ft Worth

Such a fun group of girls to photograph!

The studly men..

The reception was BEAUTIFUL. Each centerpiece was different. Looked incredible

The cake was to die for.

Billy and Terra are both teachers. Thought the book background might be appropriate.

Breath taking!!

Congrats to Billy and Terra!

Thank you guys so much for having me photograph your stunning day. Many blessings to you both!
