Today was a fun day of finding out the gender of our baby and my sister's baby. We are due 3 days apart! Both of us went in for out gender sonograms on Thursday afternoon and got to find out with our families the final verdict on Saturday afternoon. What a killer wait!! Some of us found it to be more unbearable than others.. yes, my sister and her husband cheated. They did, however, keep us all in anticipation until the cakes were cut. But Kevin and I are so proud that I made it without peaking! I was notorious as a child for peaking at Christmas presents weeks before, not a trait my husband possesses. So because I know how hard waiting for the answer is, I will keep you in a little anticipation :)
We had one cake that showed the baby was a boy.....

That's right... WE ARE HAVING A BOY and also get another niece!! We are so excited to have a boy! It is just what we wanted. My sister is also thrilled her one year old son will have a baby sister and a cousin to rough house with. It was an exciting day in our family and cannot wait until September for our little people to arrive.
